Century-long tradition of caring for our guests distinguishes our house in "Bergheim". Today's Hotel Gmachl ranks among the oldest estates of "Bergheim". Since 1796 this property has been in the possession of the family Gmachl. The family likewise looks back on a long tradition: already in C 16. the Gmachl family were conferred a coat of arms.

So the hotel on the outskirts of the town Salzburg is still managed today in the 6th .generation as a family business. The philosophy of the family Gmachl: find the correct balance of retaining the traditional values combined with sympathetic modernization. This basic idea also shapes the style of the house: modern but with a quintessence of traditional culture, dignified but comfortable.
