Arrival and departure

Arrival: Your room is available from 3 p.m. on.

Exclusively for those arriving by train: Climate protection is close to our hearts, which is why the Bergheim Tourist Board will cover your costs for arriving by train to Salzburg (for a minimum stay of three nights in the Genussdorf, without interrupting your journey). All information and requirements can be found online: Travelling by train (information in German)

For the duration of your stay, a Guest Mobility Ticket is available for you. You can find more information about it in the next section.

Departure: Your room will be at your disposal until 11:30 a.m. - you can still enjoy the DorfSPA for the whole day at the special price of € 35,00 per person incl. afternoon snack

 

Guest Mobility Ticket

Free Use of Public Transport Throughout Salzburg for Overnight Guests with the New "Guest Mobility Ticket"

Since 2025, overnight guests in the SalzburgerLand region can use all public transportation free of charge – thanks to the new Guest Mobility Ticket, which is funded through the mobility tax. This ticket is valid for the entire duration of your stay and allows access to the complete public transport network in the Salzburg region. If you are arriving by public transport, we can gladly send you the ticket in advance via email; otherwise, you will receive it on-site on the evening of your check-in day.

Please note that if you are arriving by train or bus, you must show the Guest Mobility Ticket – a booking confirmation itself is not sufficient! If you need the ticket in advance, please contact us early.

Minimum stay & seasonal details

2-night minimum stay from Friday to Monday in all rooms.

3-night minimum stay on long weekends in all rooms.

3-night minimum stay on weekends in the Bergheim and Niederhof categories. A minimum stay of three nights always applies in the Dorfsuites and Rooftop Suites.

4-night minimum stay at Easter and during the autumn holidays.

Kurzaufenthalt - eine Nacht

Eine Buchung für eine Nacht ist gerne unter der Woche möglich. Es kann zu einem Aufpreis für den Kurzaufenthalt kommen.

Saisons

On the weekends in September, October, November und December the high season price is valid.
During easter and autumn holidays the high season price is valid.

Charging stations

There are six charging stations for electric vehicles in our parking garage P3. You can charge your car here using your personal charging card, billing is based on consumption. 

If needed, you can have a charging card at the reception – a fee of € 28 will be charged to your room. The card must be returned to the reception after use.

Cancellation conditions

Our cancellation conditions:

  • Free of charge until one week before arrival
  • Until one day before 50 %
  • Within the last 48 hours 90%

Valid for the current year (except new year's eve and high season). To avoid possible cancellation charges, we recommend taking out holiday insurance with cancellation cover. We can arrange this for you with the Europäische Reiserücktrittsversicherung company. Please inform our reception team if we should go ahead and book holiday cancellation insurance for you.

These time limits also apply to free rebookings.
We can only accept room cancellations in written form.

Child reductions

Children aged 3+ are warmly welcome at the Genussdorf.

  • Sharing a room with parents – 2 full-paying guests – per day
  • Additional bed in a separate children’s room for 3 to 9 -year-olds: € 98,00 per night
  • Additional bed in a separate children’s room for 10 to 17 -year-olds: € 140,00 per night

Children are only possible in the family rooms (bookable on request).

Dog lovers

Please be sure to notify us at the time of making an enquiry if you are planning to bring your dog with you as there are only a amount of spaces available in selected room categories. Only 1 dog per room please.

Please understand that dogs are not permitted in the park area, sunbathing area, swimming pool, outdoor swimming pool, or in the breakfast area, including the terrace.

Supplement for bringing your four-legged friend: € 45,00 per day (no food included).

When can I check in?

What are the reception's opening hours?

Our reception is available daily from 7:00 am to 11:00 pm. 

Are dogs allowed in the hotel?

Yes, but please be sure to inform us when making your reservation if you are traveling with a dog, as dogs are only permitted in selected room categories. A maximum of one dog per room is allowed.

Do you have rooms with connecting doors?

No, but if available we would be happy to book you two opposite rooms or next to each other.

Do you offer allergy-friendly bedding?

Yes, upon request we will gladly provide allergy-friendly bedding in your room.

Is smoking allowed in the hotel? Is there a designated smoking area?

We are a non-smoking hotel. Smoking is only permitted on our bar terrace and in front of the hotel entrance.

What does the village pleasure-filled board include?

A refreshingly invigorating breakfast, a substantial afternoon snack, and in the evening, a five-course gourmet selection menu.

What are the breakfast hours?

Our breakfast buffet is available daily from 7:30 am to 11:00 am.

Can I have breakfast or dinner in the restaurant if I am not a hotel guest?

Breakfast and dinner at the hotel are only available as part of an overnight stay.

Can I store my luggage if I arrive earlier or depart later?

Sure, no problem.

How far is the nearest airport?

Salzburg – approximately 12 km.

How far is the nearest train station?

A 5-minute walk (400 meters). The station is 'Bergheim', served by the local S1 line from Salzburg Main Station.

Are there parking spaces available? Are they charged?

We have two parking garages (subject to availability) and an outdoor parking deck. Parking is free of charge.
